The Commons, Justice, and Development Journal (CJDJ) is guided by a structured editorial system that ensures academic quality, integrity, and efficient publication processes. The editorial team combines intellectual leadership, operational management, and scholarly expertise to support the journal’s mission.
The editorial structure of CJDJ is organised to ensure both academic rigor and operational efficiency. The Editor-in-Chief provides intellectual leadership and makes final decisions on all manuscripts, ensuring alignment with the journal’s vision and standards. Supporting this role, the Managing Editor oversees the submission workflow, from initial screening to final publication, ensuring timely communication and process coordination.
The Editorial Board contributes subject expertise and academic guidance, supporting peer review and advising on the journal’s direction and development. Reviewers, selected based on their expertise, conduct independent double-blind evaluations of submitted manuscripts, providing detailed and constructive feedback.
The workflow follows a clear sequence: submissions are first screened by the Managing Editor, then assigned for review, evaluated by expert reviewers, and finally decided upon by the Editor-in-Chief. Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, formatting, and publication. This structured process ensures transparency, quality, and consistency across all published work.
