Research is central to Ubuntu University of Tanzania. UUT approaches research as a means of understanding significant human and societal challenges, generating knowledge and expanding possibilities for meaningful lives and human flourishing.
Grounded in Ubuntu, our research recognises that knowledge carries responsibility. We therefore encourage research that is intellectually rigorous, socially relevant and attentive to human dignity, relationships, institutions and the environments within which people live.

Research With UUT
UUT welcomes researchers, graduate researchers, institutions and collaborators interested in contributing to its research community.
Research may take the form of graduate research, individual or collaborative research projects, institutional research partnerships and knowledge-generation initiatives. Across these pathways, UUT seeks to connect rigorous inquiry with questions that matter to people and society.
